My Choreography
PEP Dancers
The OCU PEP Dancers is a student-led organization on the Oklahoma City University Campus that you must audition and be invited into. It is a hip-hop group that dances during the men's and women's home basketball games. I was able to create, teach, and perform my own 30-second piece for the timeouts!
Desperados
I was one of the lucky few chosen to be a choreographer for the 2023 Student Choreography Show, "We're Back Again." Sadly I cannot upload a video due to the OCU stage rules, but I learned so much about being a choreographer throughout the process I felt it was too important to not include. With my fellow choreographers, we held auditions, cast, scheduled and reserved rooms for rehearsals, costumed, choreographed, and checked in with our professors to be sure we were creating a piece with a clear intent. I was also involved in creating and selling shirts for the show as well as advertising.
